David Serna, an attorney established in New Mexico, is the founder of the Serna Law Offices. He has been a law practitioner since 1977, the same year he graduated from Georgetown University with a Juris Doctorate. He dedicated the first four years of his law career to the prosecution of violent crimes.

In 1981, he gave up prosecution and began working as a criminal defense attorney. In the same year, he decided to start his law firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which promised quality services. The law firm is now known to provide clients the best possible defense.

His passion for justice and dedication to the protection of constitutional rights have been recognized and awarded by several organizations. He has reached several milestones in the past 42 years he has been practicing as a lawyer. He is a recipient of the Martindale-Hubbell Distinction Award and the Charles Driscoll Memorial Award.

Today, Mr. David Serna is the lone defense attorney in the whole of New Mexico who is a National Board of Trial Advocacy Certified Attorney. Board Certified Attorneys are those who have passed a rigorous screening process and examination conducted by the NBTA. He also holds a certification as a Criminal Law Specialist issued by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization.
These achievements prove that his experience and knowledge are invaluable.
